Classes are ongoing, unless otherwise noted on the schedule. We usually close the afternoons of ECU football games, please refer to the class schedule or Purple Blossom app for exact times and dates.

Walk-ins are welcomed any time. We welcome your attendance to a wide-variety of classes offered on our schedule. You may want to browse "our yoga classes" tab to see the class descriptions that may best meet your personal needs. You can easily register or sign-up for a class or workshop using our website, app or in person while in our studio. Classes are open to all levels, but we recommend that new students start with a beginner or all levels class, a gentle yoga class or yin class.

If you have signed up for a class and need to cancel please give us 24 hours notice. We know that personal and work things come up and you need to change your plans. You may sign into your MindBody account any time and schedule or cancel a yoga class; you may also call us and leave a message or email me at purpleblossomyoga@gmail.com to let me know you can't attend the class that you signed up for. I appreciate your consideration. 

Please email us at purpleblossomyoga@gmail.com, if you are interested in private instruction. You may arrange for either a 30 or 60 minute session. 

A few tips:

  • Listen to your body
  • Yoga is practiced in bare feet
  • Wear comfortable light clothing that allows maximum movement
  • An empty stomach or at least 2 hours after a meal
  • Arrive on time or about 10 minutes before a class; late arrivals may not be accommodated. The teacher is often the only person here so they lock the door when the class starts.
  • Come clean to your practice......mindful to your fellow students and instructors by using restraint with perfumes and heavy scents
  • Turn your cell phone off or silent while in the studio
  • Students are welcome to relax in the yoga room before class
  • Please remove your shoes before entering the yoga room and place them in the shoe cubbies provided.
  • Bring a water bottle, a small towel and a yoga mat (if you have one)

There are studio mats available for use free of charge, but you are encouraged to bring your own mat. You may also purchase one from us, as we now sell Jade Yoga mats. You may wish to purchase a water bottle for $1 or a mat towel for the more vigorous classes. We have created an encouraging environment in which all levels and abilities can practice. Classes are open to all levels. We want your experience at Purple Blossom to be a positive and healthy one. If you have a suggestion that will make your yoga experience better, please let us know.

We have created a space for you to grow and transform. All you need to begin your yoga journey is an open mind and the desire to experience something new.
